Fou Fou Ha! is an animated performance troupe extraordinaire. With a myriad of color-filled costumes- resembling a cross between Dr. Seuss, Antique Circus Clowns and fantastic Anime characters, Fou Fou Ha! adds laughter and magic to events with their playful antics. For your event - Fou Fou Ha! can offer ambient characters to highlight your theme, short performances of intricate, comedic dance routines or provide a featured, full- length show.
Recently voted San Francisco’s favorite new Burlesque troupe by “The Examiner”, as well as runners- up for the Bay Guardian’s Best of the Bay for “Best Dance Company” in 2008, this company of unique characters performs dance numbers to lively music ranging from Balkan Mambos, Ragtime Songs or Muppet-infused Pop tunes.
Fou Fou Ha! was recently awarded a CASH grant through Theater Bay Area to develop a children’s theater show based on Dr. Seuss’s “The Butter Battle Book”, which they currently perform in public schools through Young Audiences of Northern California. They can also be seen making appearances at various venues throughout the Bay Area and developing their own traveling show.
